Am I wrong?
So a little back story. I was going on a weekend trip with a friend. But i was currently house sitting my grandparents house. so i went back home to grab a few things before i left for that weekend. when i walked in my step dad just started yelling at me. and i was so confused because i haven’t been home in a week.
he was demanding to know where i got the money for the trip (i work full time and planned the trip months in advanced).
he demanded that i started paying rent (i was sleeping on the couch and we had previously discussed that i would turn the garage into a room and then start paying rent).
he told me i don’t help with anything around the house (he works at 4:30am so i help with my sisters in the morning, both young, and clean before i leave for work).
then he called me a spoiled brat and started punching his bed when i started defending myself.
once he started showing a physical reaction i walked out and left because im not subjecting myself to that.
i thought that if i let him cool off we could work it out. but when i got back and tried contacting him he completely ignored me. so i just moved out.
then i accidentally got a package delivered to his house and it was for work. so i went in the morning when he wasn’t there and picked it up, he was keeping it in his bedroom.
and that’s when this conversation happened.

No you definitely ate him up, in my opinion it looks like he is trying to make u feel bad or guilty about living your own life. He definitely reminds me of my dad and i agree that he’s narcissistic, but don’t think you did anything wrong he should be respecting you in the first place
