THE BEST HALAL BALI ITINERARY!! 🇮🇩

Muslim & Heading To Bali? 🇮🇩

Well Save this perfect Muslim Friendly 10 Days in Bali! 🤲

THE ONE AND ONLY, the second home for Australians and perfectly on time for the end of the year!!! 🤣

Bali is a definitely a place you can keep coming back too, heck 10 Days isn’t even enough, you have people that move here permanently!! But it does give you the chance to check out some sights and take in the bali scene! 😎

Bali is HOT, and we honestly recommend to not be too adventurous in your itinerary as the heat will slow you down and tire you out quickly. Take it easy, take it slow, and just enjoy what you can! 🤌

Hot Tips 🔥

- Not everything is halal in Bali, it is majority Buddhist and pork is widely available so look out for the halal signs and always double check with the waiters

- Bali is HOT & HUMID - bring lots of water, a hat, umbrella, fan

- Bali isn’t as cheap as it use to be, with many expats migrating and setting up businesses, prices are a bit more on the expensive side comparative to the rest of Indonesia

- Mode of transport is Grab / Gojek or you hire your own moped / driver

- Always carry cash as not all stores accept card and the entrances to many sites are cash only

- Traffic is absolutely insane, always have an hour or more for buffer as you can be sitting in traffic for a solid minute, even on a moped too

- During the end of year wet season, you can expect it to rain for at least an hour or more everyday but it quickly does dry up so don’t let it prevent you from going out

- However it can occasionally flood so be careful and keep an eye out on the weather

... Read moreWhen traveling as a Muslim in Bali, balancing sightseeing with comfort and halal considerations is crucial. From my experience, starting your trip with a reliable SIM card at the airport and arranging airport pickup simplifies your transfer to busy areas like Ubud. Ubud’s charming cafes offer halal options, and exploring the iconic Tegallalang Rice Terraces and Bali Swing creates unforgettable memories. It’s very important to pace yourself due to Bali’s tropical heat and humidity; I found that taking breaks between activities, especially visiting musholas for prayers, helps maintain energy throughout the day. Hiring a local driver for waterfall hopping is ideal—as it provides flexibility and access to hidden gems like Tibumana and Suwat Waterfalls. For a spiritual and cultural experience, praying Dhuhr and Asr at Ubud’s Mushola Putra Minang or the mosque at Ubudiah enriches your itinerary. Enjoy halal Balinese cuisine at trusted spots such as Nasi Ayam Kedevwatan Ibu Mangku, ensuring you savor local flavors without worry. Adventure seekers can take on the Mount Batur sunrise trek with a guide, though be prepared for exhaustion afterward—resting at your villa afterward becomes essential. Visiting cultural spots like Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park and experiencing the Kecak dance at Uluwatu Temple adds depth to your journey. If you want to explore beyond Bali, booking a guided day trip to Nusa Penida via speedboat offers stunning views of Broken Beach, Dinosaur Island, and Crystal Bay, all suitable for halal travelers. Always carry cash for entrances and smaller vendors, as many places don’t accept cards. Stay hydrated, wear sun protection, and be mindful of rainy season conditions to keep your trip smooth and enjoyable. Whether relaxing on Nusa Dua’s beaches or indulging in spa treatments, this itinerary blends leisure with cultural enrichment tailored for Muslim travelers in Bali.
