I met my husband on TINDER of all places. As you can see in the screenshot he did not reply back for over a month! I feel like this is a story that needs to be told because a lot of us would usually be offended by how long it took for him to reply. If I had gotten upset and not replied I wouldn’t be with the now father of my children and that is crazy to think about!
Everything happens for a reason and I would later find out that he had actually gone on medical leave back to Minnesota to be with his family in that time. He had a valid excuse to not have the focus to be messaging back his new tinder match.
Short story short, keep your high standards but also give people grace and don’t burn bridges. You never know how amazing and important a person might become in your life if you let something petty get in the way.
