I have such a sweet tooth! Despite usually avoiding sugar I allow myself a cheat weekend for some sweets once a month for my mental health 😅
I was unfortunately sick for a few days after but it was pretty mild 🥲
Anyways what’s your favorite baked good?? 😍

We all deserve a little indulgence now and then, right? For me, it’s a monthly cheat weekend dedicated to satisfying my sweet tooth, and honestly, it’s a mental health boost! While I usually steer clear of sugar, allowing myself this little splurge makes me so happy. This time, I embarked on a delightful pastry hunt, visiting a place that totally felt like a 'wish upon a pastry' kind of bakery – the kind where every treat calls your name. My ultimate goal? To find those truly crave-worthy pastries that make the indulgence worthwhile. I picked up a small haul, focusing on a variety that caught my eye. First up, the Blueberry Pastry. This beauty was topped with fresh blueberries and a lovely cream, nestled in a flaky crust. It scored an impressive 8.9/10 in my book. The sweetness was just right, not overpowering, and the fresh fruit added a fantastic burst of flavor. It felt like a little piece of art you could eat! Next, I dove into the Lemon Donut. This one was a bit of a journey! While its aesthetic-ness was, as I noted, a little ruined in transit, the taste more than made up for it. The real star was the generous lemon custard filling inside, which I rated a solid 9/10. It was perfectly tart and sweet, a creamy burst of sunshine that completely transformed the simple donut into something extraordinary. If you love lemon, this is definitely a 'wish upon a pastry' come true. Finally, for the croissant lovers out there, I tried a Strawberry Croissant. Dusted with powdered sugar and generously filled with cream and fresh strawberries, it earned an 8.6/10. The pastry itself was flaky and buttery, exactly what you want from a good croissant, and the strawberry-cream filling was light and refreshing. It was a delightful balance of textures and flavors, making it a perfect treat. Finding your own 'wish upon a pastry' moment is all about exploration and knowing what you love. Don't be afraid to try new bakeries or different types of treats. Look for fresh ingredients, creative fillings, and that undeniable scent of freshly baked goods. Whether it's a classic croissant, a decadent donut, or a fruit-filled tart, the joy is in the discovery and the pure, unadulterated pleasure of treating yourself. What's your go-to pastry when you decide to indulge?

I’d eat it all and nobody get nothing lol
