Why I love my Amazon Credit Card

I have had my Amazon credit card for about 4 years now and I love it!

As an Amazon girly I love taking advantage of the 5% back and love it look up what 10% plus deals they are running. Every time you make a payment on your card you get points available to spend right in your Amazon account! When there I something I want but it’s not really in the budget I am able to just check out with points instead.

The Amazon card is through chase and even though I do not bank with chase it has been super easy to manage. The chase app is so easy to use to view my spending history and the few times I had to dispute charges it was also very easy.

I definitely recommend the Amazon card to anyone that consistently orders from Amazon.

... Read moreHey everyone! So, as I mentioned, my Amazon Prime Rewards Visa card has been a total game-changer for my wallet. But beyond the basic 5% back, there are so many more benefits I've discovered that truly kick my savings up a notch. If you're wondering how to really make this card work for you, let me share some of my favorite tips and hidden perks. First off, those rotating 10% or more back deals? Girls, these are gold! I always check my Amazon account or the Chase app before a big purchase to see if any categories I'm shopping in are getting that extra boost. It's like finding free money! And it's not just Amazon.com. Did you know you also get 5% back at Whole Foods Market? As someone who loves cooking healthy meals, this is a huge win for my grocery budget. Plus, Audible subscriptions and even Chase Travel purchases get that sweet 5% back. I mean, who doesn't love saving on books and vacations? But wait, there's more! This isn't just an Amazon-exclusive card. I was so happy to find out I earn 2% back on gas stations, restaurants, and local transit. This is amazing for everyday spending. Whether I'm filling up my tank, grabbing coffee with friends, or taking the subway, those rewards really add up. And for everything else? It's still a solid 1% back. So, no matter where I use my card, I know I'm always earning something. Now, about maximizing those rewards – what some might call a 'shopping cart trick'. My biggest tip is to always check your rewards balance before checking out on Amazon. Sometimes, I'll have just enough points to cover a small impulse buy or even significantly reduce the cost of a bigger item. It feels like a little secret stash! Also, make sure you're always signed into your Prime account when shopping, as many of these enhanced benefits are tied to your Prime membership. And don't forget to link your card to your Amazon account so you can easily redeem points at checkout. It's super seamless! I also find the Chase app incredibly useful for tracking these rewards. I can see exactly how many points I've earned, where I earned them, and what my current balance is. This helps me plan my purchases and redeem points strategically. Setting up spending alerts is also a great way to stay on top of your budget and ensure you're making the most of your card without overspending. In my opinion, if you're a regular Amazon shopper and a Prime member, this card is truly a no-brainer. The benefits extend far beyond just Amazon purchases, making it a fantastic everyday credit card for earning rewards on so many things you already buy. It truly enhances my financial planning and makes shopping a bit more rewarding!
