I’m stuck in a plateau and could really use some
l've been really trying to lose weight since October. I started at a size 20, and I've currently been stuck at a 14-16 for the last couple of months. I am also holding a ton of water weight, and no matter what I do, it doesn't seem to help get rid of it. I can really use some help with getting out of this plato, so I would really appreciate some advice from you all.

Experiencing a weight loss plateau can be frustrating, especially after significant initial progress. It’s essential to understand that plateaus are a common part of the journey. One effective method is examining your nutrient intake; tracking your macros can help ensure you're not in a calorie surplus. Additionally, consider adjusting your exercise routine—varying your workouts can stimulate new results, whether it's increasing intensity or incorporating new activities. Staying hydrated is also crucial; sometimes water retention can mask actual fat loss. Implementing strategies such as reducing sodium intake or increasing protein may also assist in addressing water weight. Remember, consistency is key. Joining support groups online or engaging with communities like #WeightLossJourney or #FitFam can provide encouragement and motivation. Understanding that weight loss is not linear can help you stay positive. Stay adaptable, seek advice, and celebrate small victories to keep your morale high as you work towards your goals.
