Why I Guide Adventure Trips
•Helping people safely connect to nature is so rewarding… so many people are intimidated to get outside, but getting outside is SO important and so good for you! Being able to help people safely have these experiences is one of the most fulfilling parts of my job. But it’s actually not even the main reason I do it…
•Connection=Advocacy!! I truly believe that connecting with nature can help create new voices to stand up for that space. When people have a deep experience somewhere, they truly start to see why it’s important to protect it.
•Teaching tangible skills can help bring people outside more. A guide is more than just a person there to show you cool stuff, we’re here to help you feel more comfortable, to teach you, and to make sure that you walk away from our trips feeling like you can power some of your own adventures in the future and continue getting outside.
