Why Targeted Thinking is Essential to Closing The Gap
You don’t close the gap by doing more. You close it by becoming different.
Identity transformation always begins in the mind, long before results appear in your life, business, or finances. Before success shows up externally, your thinking must evolve internally. That’s why Targeted Thinking is so powerful. It is the mechanism of identity transformation.
In my latest blog article, I explain why:
• You cannot build what you are not prepared to become
• You cannot sustain what your mindset cannot support
• You cannot live a new future with old thinking

... Read moreIn my journey toward personal and professional growth, I’ve realized that true transformation starts in the mind long before results manifest externally. The concept of Targeted Thinking deeply resonated with me because it is not about working harder but about thinking differently — evolving your mindset to align with who you aspire to become.
For example, before I could build a successful business, I had to first think like a business builder; this meant adopting new habits, perspectives, and confidence that were initially unfamiliar. Similarly, before creating a brand or expanding an empire, embodying the mindset of an empire architect became necessary. This mental shift allowed me to sustain progress even when external circumstances were challenging because my internal thinking supported my goals.
Targeted Thinking differs from motivation because it is a deliberate mental discipline aimed at identity transformation rather than temporary encouragement. It teaches that you cannot live a new future with old thinking, nor sustain success without the appropriate mindset. This approach encouraged me to question my limiting beliefs and replace them with empowering thoughts aligned with my purpose-driven life.
In practice, incorporating targeted thinking involves daily visualization, affirmations, and intentional focus on the qualities needed to embody future success. It transforms vague aspirations into actionable mental frameworks, increasing clarity and resilience.
I recommend joining communities or following content that supports this mindset shift — such as the #JourneyOfBecoming or #TargetedThinking initiatives — for consistent growth and reinforcement. Embracing this mental transformation has been key to my entrepreneurial growth and personal fulfillment, and it can be yours too.
