Our JB Day Trip!
Hey friends! I recently went to jb and here's what we did! (prices included)
1️⃣Booked the 11am KTM to jb and surprisingly it wasn't too crowded!
💰 Price: 11 SGD (for two tix, there was a 0.66 rm discount aft I booked tix during my previous trip :) )
2️⃣ Once we were in JB, we walked over to a Nepalese food place called Sunset Meadow to hv our lunch! The staff helped to refill the side dishes and topped up rice as well!
💰 Price: ~60 RM
3️⃣ After lunch, we took a grab to eco palladium to play floor is lava!
💰 Price: 52 RM (for grab ride) and 60 RM (for floor is lava)
4️⃣ After fun and games, it's time for every Singaporean's favourite activity- massage ofc! We took another grab ride to Bangkok Family Spa to enjoy their 1h aromatherapy massage! We made a reservation the day before by messaging their Whatsapp number and topped up 13 RM per pax for a private room! 🛌
💰 Price: 20 RM (for grab ride) and 208 RM (2 pax aromatherapy massage with private room)
5️⃣ Lastly, we took our final grab ride back to Zenith lifestyle centre to enjoy hotpot! Sadly the seaweed soup was too salty for me but the selection of food was good imo! It's a Taiwanese style hotpot place so there's braised pork rice(lu rou fan) and aiyu jelly as well!😋

If you're planning a visit to JB and love trying new foods, Sunset Meadow is definitely a highlight. The Nepalese dishes are hearty, and the staff's kindness in refilling side dishes really made me feel at home. For a bit of active fun, the floor is lava game at Eco Palladium adds a unique twist to your workout and is surprisingly amusing for all ages. Make sure you bring socks! One tip I found useful was booking the massage in advance via WhatsApp; this got us a private room which made the experience much more relaxing and worth the extra cost. The aromatherapy massage after a day of walking was perfect and rejuvenating. Finally, if you enjoy Taiwanese flavors, end your day at Guoma Steamboat Buffet for hotpot. Though the seaweed soup was a bit salty for my taste, the variety of ingredients like braised pork rice and aiyu jelly were delightful. For transport, Grab rides are affordable and convenient to move between spots. Overall, this day trip balances good food, exciting activities, and relaxation perfectly. Don’t forget to try local food favorites and share your experiences with friends for a memorable JB adventure!
