Weight loss Journey

#lemon8challenge #lemon8badgehunt

I’ve been doing this for about a month and half. There’s been some changes that I’ve notice.

I went from 3xl/2xl to xl in shirts. Pants size from 19/18 to a 15.

I set a water goal for myself. I drank 40 ounces a day. I cut out most sugar. I switch out my salad dressings to gluten free or vegan. I’ve been monitoring how much I ate as well. From the whole plate clean to half still left on the plate. Progress.

I went to HOTWORX for 4/5 days if my schedule allows it. I’ve been doing two sessions plus my 10 to 30 minutes strength & mobility.

I was at 268.8 now I’m down to 251.6. Total of 17.2 down. And I haven’t felt better but still got long ways to go.

Some supplements I’m taking: HOTWORX creatine gummies and Celsius for pre workout.

Reminder: Do what it’s best for you not what everyone else does. This will help you keep yourself motivated locked in when you build your own healthy habits. Listen to your body and breath through.

... Read moreEmbarking on a weight loss journey taught me the value of consistency and listening to my body. Setting a daily water intake goal — aiming for at least 40 ounces — really helped curb unnecessary snacking and kept my energy levels steady throughout the day. I found that replacing sugary drinks and snacks with water improved my overall well-being. Switching to gluten-free or vegan salad dressings was another small but impactful change. It reduced my intake of hidden sugars and unhealthy fats, making salads more enjoyable and guilt-free. Monitoring portion sizes was crucial too; instead of cleaning my plate, I started leaving about half to avoid overeating. This shift helped me become more mindful of hunger cues. Incorporating HOTWORX into my routine was a game-changer. The infrared sauna workouts helped me burn calories even after exercise, and the variety of sessions like HOT BLAST and HOT CORE kept things interesting. Doing strength and mobility exercises for 10 to 30 minutes on off days complemented the sauna sessions, improving muscle tone and flexibility. Supplements like HOTWORX creatine gummies and Celsius pre-workout gave me an energy boost but I always made sure to check how they made me feel. Tracking my progress with activity rings and step counts motivated me further; seeing daily milestones hit felt rewarding. The journey was not only physical but mental — reminding myself to do what's best for me prevented burnout and kept motivation alive. Building healthy habits that fit my lifestyle, rather than trying to imitate others, made losing 17.2 pounds sustainable and fulfilling. Looking back, the combination of hydration, mindful eating, effective workouts, and personalized supplementation created a balanced approach. For anyone starting out, patience and self-compassion are key. Celebrate the small wins and listen to your body — sometimes resting and breathing through tough days leads to better progress than pushing too hard.
