Cutest girls day: paint, picnic, and pass it on 🎨🧺
This pass & paint picnic idea is peak girlhood
If you're looking for a wholesome way to spend a day with the girlies, pass & paint at White Rock Lake (or any scenic spot) is such a cozy plan 💖
Here's what we did:
🎨 Everyone brought a blank canvas, some paint, and brushes.
⏱️ We set a timer for 2 minutes, painted something on our canvas, then passed it to the next person in the circle.
➡️ We kept passing until every canvas was filled in — it's chaotic, creative, and SO interesting to see how each one turns out.
We camped out by the dog park side of White Rock Lake — there's plenty of grassy, scenic spots to set up a picnic. We brought sandwiches from Evan's Meat Market, chicken tenders, pastries from Ecclesia Bakery, and boba, but you can bring whatever your heart desires.
💡Tips:
Bring bug spray + sunscreen
Pack a water cup for cleaning brushes
Stay hydrated (Dallas heat is no joke)
Embrace the mess — the paintings are more fun that way 😂

Planning a girls' day full of creativity can be a memorable experience, especially with activities like pass and paint. This fun idea involves each person painting a section of a canvas, fostering collaboration and creativity. To make the day even more enjoyable, consider some delicious picnic snacks and refreshing drinks. White Rock Lake offers numerous scenic spots to set up your gathering, allowing you to enjoy nature while you create. When organizing your picnic, consider packing easy-to-eat items like sandwiches, fruit, and pastries. Don’t forget drinks like boba or sparkling water to stay refreshed. Essential tips for outdoor art sessions include bringing bug spray and sunscreen to protect against insects and the sun. A water cup is useful for cleaning brushes during the event. Hydration is key, especially in warmer climates, so always keep water accessible. Finally, embrace the artistic chaos and encourage everyone to enjoy the process rather than worry about perfection. This approach will not only yield unique masterpieces but also great memories.
