Autism Awareness 5k

Instead of thinking of how cold, wheezy, or feverish I felt, I praised God that I could move and praise him in my movement. I was tempted to think about the cup half empty, but hey we pushed through it! This 5k was one of the hardest being that cold! And what got me through, truly, was having that time to talk so deeply with God. To thank him for the many beautiful people he has created! Left brained, right brained, extroverted, introverted, intuitive, perceptive, logical, emotional, kinesthetic, neurodivergent…we are all given a small aspect of God himself! I was thinking the other day how my mom’s love for the outdoors reminds me I’m her child. We can look at our emotions, our mind, our heart, and recognize, we are Gods.

Isaiah 53:3 “He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care.”

Tell me after that verse you can’t relate with Jesus 😭 So incredible his perseverance despite constant mistreatment. Keep standing strong! There’s one who loves you so deeply that will stand strong by your side.
