「日本万国博覧会の通期入場券って買うべき？」「子供と行くなら何回行ける？」みたいに悩んで、私も直前まで迷いました。結論から言うと、我が家は“行く回数”と“滞在スタイル”で判断するのがいちばんスッキリしました。 まず通期入場券が向いてるのは、①近場で複数回行ける（夕方だけ入場、土日の短時間など）②当日予約が外れても「また来ればいい」と割り切れる③子供の「もう一回あれ見たい！」に付き合える、というタイプ。逆に、遠方からの1回勝負や、1日で全部詰め込みたい人は、日付指定の入場券＋“回る優先順位”を固める方が満足度が高いと思います。 子供万博の回り方としては、「待ちが少ない体験系→疲れたら休憩→最後にお土産/くじ」の順が楽でした。コモンズ系は国の展示がぎゅっと詰まっていて、スタッフさんに異国のことを教わるのが意外と子供の食いつき良かったです。楽器や塗り絵みたいに“手を動かす系”があると、親の説明ゼロでも楽しめます。 当日をラクにする小ワザは3つ。1つ目はゲート選び。私みたいに西ゲートに変えると、タイミングによっては待ちなしで通過できることもありました（枠の空きと時間帯次第）。2つ目は通信環境。予約や抽選の操作をするなら、ポケットWiFiや電波が安定する場所探しが地味に大事。人が密集すると電波伝播の関係なのか通信が詰まりやすく、更新連打で時間を溶かしがちです。3つ目は持ち物。傘を持ってなくて後悔したので、晴雨兼用の折りたたみ＋水分は本当に必須。 ちなみに「万博 赤字」みたいな話題も検索でよく見ますが、行く側としては“元を取る”より「子供がどんな展示で目を輝かせたか」「親子で何を話したか」を回収する日だなと感じました。通期入場券は、その体験を“回数で育てたい家”に向く選択肢。迷っている人は、まず1回行ってから通期にするか決めるのもアリです。 あと余談ですが、コモンズで見た国旗が気になって調べることが増えました。マリ連邦の国旗みたいに、子供が「この色なに？」と聞いてくるだけで学びが広がるので、図鑑や地図アプリを入れておくと帰宅後も楽しめます。
