実際に行ってみて感じたのは、「びわ湖こどもの国（滋賀県立びわ湖こどもの国）」は“無料＝軽く遊べる”じゃなくて、“無料なのに滞在時間が溶ける”場所だということです。子供の国 滋賀で検索している人は、結局どれくらい遊べるの？混む？小さい子でも大丈夫？が気になると思うので、我が家の体験ベースで追記します。 まず時間配分。遊具が本当に多いので、午前〜お昼またぎで行く前提がおすすめ。うちは「サクッと遊ぼう」と寄ったのに、くねくねターザンロープと超ロングスライダーでテンションが上がって、移動するたびに「あれも！これも！」になりました。結果、気づいたら夕方。帰れない公園ってこういうことか…と実感しました。 年齢差きょうだい連れのコツは、最初に“集合場所”を決めること。上の子がアスレチック系に夢中になる一方で、下の子は幼児エリアをリピートしがち。広いぶん迷いやすいので、「このベンチに戻る」「この看板の前で集合」みたいな目印を作ると楽でした。 雨の日・暑い日対策としては、室内あそび場が想像以上に助かりました。未就学児まで＆20分200円なので、外遊び→室内でクールダウン→また外、の切り替えがしやすいです。さらにおもしろ自転車は、親も一緒に“協力プレイ”になるので、家族で盛り上がりました（バランス取るの意外と難しい）。 お金の面は、入園無料でも駐車場（500円）や室内あそび場などでちょこちょこ使う場面あり。小銭を用意しておくとスムーズでした。 最後に、びわ湖 こどもの国を「おすすめスポット」として推したい理由は、遊具の充実だけじゃなくて、子どもが自分で遊びを見つけていく“探究心”が育つところ。何度行っても遊び方が変わるので、リピートにも向いています。行く前は公式サイトでイベント日程もチェックして、当日は“時間に余裕”だけは本当に多めに取ってください（笑）。
