My mom joins my Dear in heaven 🕊️✝️🕊️
5 years ago, I lost my Grandmother (Dear). Took me this length to fully get use to this loss, now this year in March, I lost my mother. 2 of the most influencial figures in my life is with God. I miss them tremendously 😞, even tho I know life goes on.

Losing loved ones is one of the most profound challenges we face in life. When I lost my grandmother five years ago, it felt as if a guiding light had been dimmed forever. Her presence was a constant source of wisdom and comfort. Over time, I began to learn how to carry her memory with me, allowing it to inspire rather than sadden me. When my mother passed away recently, the pain resurfaced with even greater intensity. Two of the most influential figures in my life departed within a relatively short span, leaving behind a void that sometimes feels impossible to fill. I realized that grief isn't something you 'get over' quickly; it’s a process that requires patience and self-compassion. Throughout my journey, I found solace in small rituals—lighting candles in their honor, reminiscing about shared moments, and speaking their names aloud. These acts helped keep their spirits alive within me. I also sought support from friends and community members who understood that the process of healing is not linear. It’s important to acknowledge that while grief brings sadness, it also deepens our appreciation for life and the people still with us. Embracing this duality allowed me to slowly integrate my losses into my life story. Though my grandmother, Natalie Evans, and my mother, Bettie Brown, are now with God and the angels, their love continues to guide my steps. If you’re facing similar losses, know that it’s okay to feel overwhelmed. Give yourself permission to grieve in your own way and time. Remember that moving forward doesn’t mean forgetting — it means honoring their legacy by living fully and with heart. Life does go on, and in that continuing journey, we carry the light of those we lost.

My condolences losing your grandmother is hard but to lose your mom that’s even harder I couldn’t bare losing my mom ❤️🥺
