Quirks. The table can't be smudged! What exactly are we with the "tumbler stain"?
If you are the one who goes to eat or goes anywhere with a table and can't let the table smudge the table, we are friends. We will sometimes use almost all the tissue. The hand automatically picks the tissue itself, although no one is told to wipe 😅 the water mark from the glass...A little bit of rice...That's it. Hands start working! It's an unsolvable habit. Others get up and dance in the pub. I'm almost a staff member. 😅
It sounds like a small thing, but in a psychologist's view, this behavior is more interesting than it seems.
🧠 1. This may be "Need for Control."
Some people will feel uncomfortable when things are out of order.
Wiping the table is a way to "restore peace" to the brain - like telling yourself, "Everything's okay." It's a mini stress relief ritual. 💆🏻♀️
✨ 2. May reflect a high "Conscientious" habit.
In personality psychology (Big Five), people who are organized, thoughtful and highly responsible often do not let go through such small things - the table must be clean, the glass must be placed in the corner 😌, who is not? We are.
🧽 3. Or some people may have soft "OCPD" tendencies.
Don't panic, it doesn't mean schizophrenia, but a personality that likes "perfection" and "organization," which, at the right level, is charming - because people like this often look detailed, sleepwalking and attentive.
🍋 Brief summary: Clean table = Calm mind and wanting to wipe the table does not mean that we have mental problems, but it may reflect that we are people who need balance, peace and comfort from small things. But anyway, it is a waste. Once we check out, the staff will come clean again anyway. It is important to cause unnecessary waste. It is a strange habit that we intend to reduce and quit within this year. 🥺
Where does anyone have any strange habits? Comments are shared. I want to pay attention. 💭👀🫶🏻
