Evil Dead Burn has a different approach to the other Evil Dead Franchise movies (not surprisingly, many people might not appreciate this installment). We don't count My Favourite's Evil Dead 2 as the most Iconic Horror Comedy 80's, and we don't count Army of Darkness as dark Fantasy entertainment, because these two stories already have a pattern that's torn apart.

Many of the things that Evil Dead Burn brings up are things we didn't think we'd see in Evil Dead Film Franchise. It sets up a Rationale to the events that take place in the story. It sets up a character background, creating an Intention for the Deadites, to introducing each weapon to us before the characters in the story use it to Kill.

The conflict between the characters in Evil Dead, another installment, is just a Minor Conflict with almost no effect on the story line. In 2013, Mia was left by David to take care of her mentally ill mother to turn to drugs, or in the Rise sector. Although the Bixler family is warm, Ellie is a single mother, so she has to fight a difficult life... These knots, to be honest, don't make the story more intense, almost a little bit of a detel that people don't care about, just focus on Deadite and the Kill scene.

But Evil Dead Burn made the Domestic Abuse knot clear from the beginning. The added Emotional Tension made the atmosphere of the movie Intense throughout the movie (compared to other installments, Burn has a New French Extremity movie vibe). Alice was attacked by her husband. And when we get to know her husband's family, it's understandable why Will is Abusive. Himi Edgar is the father at the extreme patriarch. Susan is a submissive mother who does not resist Edgar's Agressive style to allow violence to occur in the house.

Each character has its own knot and conflicts with other characters overlapping the other layer. The movie has a solid background here, but it doesn't take so long to make the story boring. What Burn does well above other installments is create a knot that can reflect the actions of each character in the story. Deadites in Burn. This is the inner full! It's obvious in the scene where Thea runs out of candles and says Cheers to your perfect family. This is also crazy to bite the Price family sore, because no daughter-in-law would be able to deal with a nervous family like this.

Alice is a very spicy Final Girl. The script puts the character knot so well that we feel like she's both a poor nemesis. Alice is the victim of a Price family problem, which the movie uses Survival Horror as an analogy of the situation she had to escape to get out of. At the end, we were so upset that she could overcome everything and curse the mother-in-law into a big, heavy costume.

So many beautiful scenes were filmed that we didn't expect to see anything like this from the Evil Dead movie. She really liked Shot Design and Camerawork. She thought it well and made it out. The Sounds that choose to sound meatse, have complex layers, and Mix came out well. The only thing is not to use CGI in the ending scene. This one deducts the score. It's bad. It's not cool. If used as a Practical Effect instead, it's a lot cooler.

The Gore scene design is not as brutal as the 2013 installment, but Burn compensates for the fun that comes at every stroke. The violence against each other is very fierce without rest. Which scene to be brutal is brutal sus, not just a ridiculous fake blood smear.

Our favorite scene is where Joseph puts a dishwasher lid on Thea's face and is crazy about crushing this scene by having Edgar pinch Joseph's head and force his child to kiss Thea's face, which is beyond the usual Gore scene, but this is where Edgar humiliates his unloved son in front of a family member (think of a scene in the movie Mum & Dad).

Alice's ear pen scene. It's not a blood splash. It's something that just looks like it hurts instead. It's the equivalent of a torture scene in Takashi Miike's short film Imprint, where a needle is plugged directly between the nail and the fingertips. It gives a similar feed. Don't play big but hurt. Ship disappears.
