All moms (BF) topic 🩷

Hey guys ! I’m newly 4 months PP. I’m exclusively breastfeeding (BF). My little girl. I was doing alright pumping in the beginning but I slid off because of different things like chores , my 5 year old boy, appointments, mental health ! & just being tired , I just started feeding on demand because Im a SAHM so it was easier for me ! But now I’m seeing even going out for a few hours , just 2 ! Is hard because my child won’t take forumla ! At all. I don’t want her to ! I want to start back pumping and somehow increase my milk supply to do so. I just want Tips , any recommendations , any little thing I could try to help ! Thank you guys 🤞🏾

Many moms, like you, face obstacles such as juggling responsibilities and maintaining mental health while caring for their infants. If your little one is refusing formula, there are several strategies to explore. Consider establishing a pumping schedule that mimics your baby’s feeding times to boost your milk supply. This will not only help ensure that you have milk available when you need to be away, but also encourage your body to produce more milk. Additionally, hydration is crucial; make sure you're drinking plenty of water. Consuming lactation-boosting foods like oats, almonds, and leafy greens can also be beneficial. Moreover, find a comfortable and relaxing space to pump, as stress can affect milk letdown. Remember, it’s important to be gentle with yourself and recognize that every breastfeeding journey is unique. Connecting with online breastfeeding support groups can provide both additional tips and emotional encouragement, making your experience less isolating.
