Growing up in those times, the sight of that iconic shop on Guerrero Street meant more than just ice cream. It represented a moment of pause, a shared joy after the solemnity of worship, and a way to celebrate the family's unity and love.
I remember the excitement bubbling up in the car as we approached the shop, dressed in our Sunday best. The anticipation was almost tangible—the kids eager to pick their favorite flavors, the parents smiling at the innocent joy it brought.
