Chops with Rich Gravy - Southern Comfort on a Plate
Ingredients:
- 4 bone-in pork chops
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup milk

**Seasoned Flour** - Mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika in a shallow dish.
2 Dredge Chops** - Coat pork chops evenly in seasoned flour.
**Fry**- Heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Fry chops 5-7 mins per side until golden & cooked through.
Keep warm in 200°F oven.
**Make Gravy** - In same skillet, add a bit more oil if needed, stir in some seasoned flour, cook 1-2 mins to form roux.
**Whisk** - Gradually add chicken broth & milk, scraping browned bits.
Simmer 5-7 mins until thickened.
**Serve** - Plate chops, pour over rich gravy, and enjoy pure comfort food bliss. Pro Tips: For extra-crispy coating, dip chops in buttermilk before dredging
