1 month pregnant - 5 months pregnant 🩷

... Read moreHey beautiful mamas-to-be! I wanted to share a deeper dive into my pregnancy journey, especially since my last post just scratched the surface of what it's truly like going from 1 month pregnant all the way to 5 months. It’s been an incredible rollercoaster, and I remember feeling so many different things at each stage. When I was just 1 month pregnant, it was such a surreal time. For me, the biggest sign was the overwhelming fatigue – I could literally fall asleep anywhere! And then, of course, a missed period. That little pink line on the test felt like the biggest secret I’d ever kept. Physically, there wasn’t much to see, but internally, my body was already working overtime creating a little human. I started feeling a bit queasy, which quickly became my constant companion for a few weeks. I remember thinking, 'Is this really happening?' It was a mix of pure joy and a tiny bit of overwhelm. Moving into 2 months pregnant, the morning sickness really kicked in for me. It wasn't just mornings; it was all-day sickness! I learned quickly what foods I could tolerate and which ones were a definite no-go. Despite feeling a bit rough, there was this growing excitement. At 3 months pregnant, I started to feel a tiny bit more human, and the nausea began to subside for most of the day. This is when I started thinking about telling more people, and the reality of becoming a mom really began to sink in. My clothes were still fitting, but I could feel my body changing subtly. By 4 months pregnant, I finally started to get some of that famous 'pregnancy glow' everyone talks about! My energy levels improved dramatically, and I felt like I was getting my life back, just like I mentioned in my quick post. This was such a relief after the exhausting first trimester. My little bump was just starting to pop, and I remember feeling so proud showing it off. It was less about keeping it a secret and more about embracing this beautiful change. Now, being 5 months pregnant, it's truly amazing. The bump is definitely undeniable, and I’m loving all the cute maternity clothes! But beyond the visible changes, the most incredible part is feeling the baby move. Those first flutters felt like butterflies, and now they’re becoming more distinct kicks and nudges. It’s such a constant, sweet reminder that there's a little life growing inside me. My energy is generally good, though I still have days where I need a nap. I've also been focusing on staying active with gentle walks and eating nourishing foods. I'm trying to soak in every moment of this second trimester, as everyone says it's often the 'easiest' part of pregnancy. It’s a wonderful time to connect with your baby and prepare for their arrival. If you're going through these months, remember to listen to your body, celebrate every milestone, and be gentle with yourself!
