Should I Get Maternity Photos?
Not going to lie…I had major anxiety around my maternity photo shoot. I reluctantly scheduled them because I knew three years in the future I would be so happy that I have the memories to look back on (and I was right).
Signing up to get pictures taken of myself when I had zero energy to do my hair or makeup, plan an outfit, and look happy in the moment was the last thing I wanted to do. Now that it’s been almost three years since those pictures were taken, I reflect proudly at the woman I was.
It seems like they were taken a lifetime ago. If there is anything that convinces you to get maternity photos, let it be this: the woman you will be in three years will want these photos.
