3 Things I Would NOT Do at Disney World With Kids

Disney World is the most magical place on earth for so many reasons! As a mom, seeing my daughter’s face light up when she saw her favorite characters, or the captivating gaze she had locked on the intricate designs of the attractions and rides was the absolute best thing to experience.

With all the best moments come amazing memories to look back on. Making your days at the parks run as smooth as possible is key to making the best core memories!

What I would NOT do at Disney World with kids to ensure a seamless visit are these three things!

VISIT PARKS ON CONSECUTIVE DAYS

Kiddos are doing the most on park days, so they will be exhausted by the end of the night. Taking a rest day between park days gives your kids a chance to rest and recharge.

DO MORE THAN ONE SIT DOWN/FULL SERVICE RESTAURANT IN A DAY

Kids are super excited to explore and see new characters! Getting them to sit for longer meals can become difficult very quickly. I suggest planning one sit down meal, and do quick service food the rest of the day. You can also bring your own food for lunch or snacks!

SKIP OUT ON THE GENIE+ PASS

The Genie+ pass comes with several perks, but the best in my opinion was the lightening lane! Having the opportunity to stand in line for half the time is so worth it if you have young kids. It allowed us to fit in more attractions throughout the day, and you reserve your spot in line so you can plan exactly when to be there.

I hope these tips can apply to any vacation! Follow @Olivia Harper for all things motherhood + lifestyle

... Read moreWhen planning a trip to Disney World with kids, it's vital to consider their stamina and interests. Visiting parks on consecutive days can lead to exhaustion. Instead, consider scheduling rest days to recharge, allowing for a more enjoyable experience. Meal planning is essential; kids can be restless during prolonged sit-down meals. Aim to enjoy one full-service restaurant experience and opt for quick-service dining for other meals. Bringing your own snacks and lunches can also be a game-changer. Finally, do not overlook the benefits of the Genie+ pass. While it comes with extra costs, it significantly reduces wait times at popular attractions, which can be especially helpful when managing young children's energy levels and expectations. Implementing these tips can help families create lasting memories at the park without the unnecessary stress.

1. I’d never stay at an off-site hotel. Breaks are important for littles ones. Whether it’s for a nap or pool time. Being close to the parks + free transportation can’t be beat. 2. I’d never not use the Lightning Lane system. No one likes to wait in long lines. Especially kids who don’t quite un
