The transition from traditional sketching to digital platforms opens up a world of possibilities. High-quality sketching apps available for the iPad, such as Procreate and Adobe Fresco, provide a wide range of brushes and tools that can mimic real-world materials. This means your sketches can maintain a tactile feel while benefiting from the convenience of portability. Artists can experiment with layers, colors, and effects easily without cluttering physical space with traditional tools. Moreover, using a stylus enhances precision in drawing, allowing for finer details that are sometimes difficult to achieve with pen and paper. Many artists find that they draw more frequently and freely when they have their iPad on hand. Additionally, participating in online communities where creators share their work can foster growth and inspiration. Engaging in forums and hashtags related to illustration can connect you with other like-minded individuals. Such interactions can lead to constructive feedback and collaborations that enrich your artistic journey. Consider setting goals for your sketching habits, such as daily doodling or weekly illustrations. This consistency can help transform your creative practice into a rewarding routine. Remember, the key to improvement is continual practice and exploration of new techniques.

I LOVED my paperlike screen protector (and this is not me hating, just wanted to give you a warning) mine actually starting destroying the tip of my Apple Pencil to the point the metal was showing through and was scratching the screen protector, obviously you could have a different one that doesn’t ruin the Apple Pencil tip and you can always buy more tips but I just didn’t want to keep buying tips lol I wish it didn’t do that to mine because I absolutely loved my paperlike screen protector
