So many of you have been asking about my rainbow cheetah makeup look that I shared, and I'm absolutely thrilled to spill the tea on how I brought this fun, fierce style to life! When I first finished it, I honestly thought, "WOAHHH THAT LOOKS AMAZING!" and I still do. If you're ready to unleash your inner wild child with a splash of color, here’s a mini-guide to help you create your own dazzling rainbow cheetah makeup. First things first, prep is key for any intricate makeup look, especially one with so many vibrant colors. I always start with a good eye primer to ensure those bright shades pop and stay put all day (or night!). After priming, I like to lay down a neutral, light base eyeshadow to help with blending later. Think of it as your blank canvas. Now for the rainbow magic! This is where you get to play with your favorite colorful eyeshadow palette. I picked out about 4-5 bright shades – think electric blue, fiery orange, sunny yellow, and a bold pink or purple. I applied these in a gradient across my eyelid, blending each color seamlessly into the next. The trick here is to use smaller, fluffy brushes and build up the color gradually. Start with a tiny bit of product and add more if needed. Don't be afraid to go back and forth between colors to ensure a smooth transition. The goal is a vibrant, almost tie-dye effect that screams fun! Once your rainbow base is looking fabulous, it's time for the cheetah spots – the most exciting part! For this, I used a black liquid eyeliner with a fine tip. You want to draw irregular, broken C-shapes or U-shapes, not perfect circles. Think of how real cheetah spots look – they’re not uniform. I scattered these across the rainbow areas, varying their size and spacing. For an extra pop, I sometimes add a tiny dot of a contrasting brighter color (like white or gold) inside some of the spots. This really makes them stand out and adds to the playful, Lisa Frank vibe. You could also experiment with colored liners for the spots – imagine pink spots on a blue background! So many possibilities. To finish off the eyes, a good coat of volumizing mascara is a must. If you're feeling extra, a pair of dramatic false lashes can elevate the look even further. I usually pair a bold eye look like this with a more subdued lip, perhaps a nude gloss or a soft peach lipstick, so the eyes remain the star of the show. Don't forget to use a setting spray to lock everything in, especially if you're going to be out and about! My biggest tip for recreating this look? Don't be afraid to experiment and have fun with it! It might take a few tries to get the blending and spots exactly how you want them, but practice makes perfect. And remember, makeup is all about expressing yourself. There's no right or wrong way to do it. Just enjoy the process and create something that makes you feel amazing! I can't wait to see your own rainbow cheetah creations.
