- finally having a good routine -

TODAYS WORKOUT:

BACK/ ARMS

4x 8- cable rows at 55lbs

4x10- lat pull downs at 45lbs (last set was 12 reps bc I knew I could)

4x10- triceps extensions at 15-20 lbs (my forearms were burning by then)

30 mins treadmill at 2.6 mph, 6.5 incline

📒Notes: So it’s been a VERY long time since I’ve updated. Honestly I don’t think I’ve lost weight but here’s some things I’ve noticed

👍Pros:

- legs feel stronger and are more toned

- I actually unwind at the gym now

- working out and sweating next to people isn’t scary anymore ( I realized everyone is doing their own thing)

- I feel more energetic

- I’ve found more workouts and have been practicing form

🤔Cons:

- it’s hard to feel like things are working because I don’t feel like I’m losing weight

- my diet isn’t good so that doesn’t help

- I stopped updating and felt disappointed in myself

Consistency in your regimen can lead to noticeable benefits, such as increased energy and body toning. It's common to feel discouraged when weight loss isn’t immediately visible. Understanding that muscle gain often accompanies fat loss is crucial. Track your progress through strength improvements rather than just weight on the scale. Also, remember the importance of a balanced diet in complementing your fitness efforts. Consider trying a variety of workouts to keep things exciting. Engaging in different styles, from cardio to resistance training, can help you discover what you enjoy most and can maintain. Lastly, don’t underestimate the power of community; sharing your journey can connect you with others who inspire and motivate you.
