Back at it💪🏾 3 weeks off had me feelin’ weak😩 but all that matters is we movin now!!🤨
Taking a break from exercising can really impact your strength and motivation, as I recently discovered after three weeks off. I felt weak initially, but I quickly realized that the most important step is just to keep moving. In my recent sessions, I focused on classic exercises like EZ-Bar Curls with 25 to 45 lb weights and Hammerstrength Shoulder Presses to rebuild my muscle endurance. I also integrated machine rear delt flys and vertical knee raises, aiming for sets of 15 reps or more to target different muscle groups effectively. What really helped me stay on track was setting clear goals, like completing 5 workouts per week and tracking progress each day. Seeing progress on the Planet Fitness app kept me motivated by showing how many reps and sets I completed and how close I was to maintaining my workout streak. Sharing these milestones creates a sense of accountability and excitement. One tip I've learned is not to rush back into heavy lifting too fast. Starting with manageable weights while focusing on form helps prevent injury and rebuilds confidence. Also, mixing different exercises keeps the routine fresh and fun, preventing monotony. If you’re returning after a break, remember that feeling weak is temporary. Consistency and patience matter most. By setting small daily goals, tracking progress, and gradually increasing intensity, anyone can regain fitness and even surpass previous levels. Keep moving forward—you’ve got this!
