... Read moreFish tacos are a popular dish that combines fresh flavors and easy preparation, making them a beloved choice for any meal. To create the perfect fish taco, select a mild white fish, such as cod or tilapia, as they hold up well during cooking and absorb flavors beautifully. Start by seasoning the fish with spices like garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and a pinch of salt for an enhanced taste experience. For the best results, bake the seasoned fish at 375°F for about 15 minutes, ensuring it is cooked through and flaky. As the fish bakes, prepare your rice. The recipe includes adding water, allowing it to boil, and simmering with your choice of seasoning until fluffy. Frozen peas make a simple vegetable addition; add them to the boiling rice for the last few minutes of cooking to heat them through. This combination creates a colorful and nutritious side dish to accompany your tacos. Don’t forget to make a fresh slaw for extra crunch! A mix of chopped cabbage, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and pepper provides a refreshing counterpart to the warm tacos. When assembling, layer the fish in a soft taco shell, top with the slaw, and perhaps a dash of hot sauce for those who enjoy a kick. Enjoy your homemade fish tacos alongside rice and peas for a complete, satisfying meal ideal for family dinners or casual gatherings, celebrating this delightful dish!

This looks delicious. I definitely would not have paired peas with fish tacos, but both of them are good, so hey why not. Looks good to me.

I love fish tacos they’re super good I usually do tilapia or I just use shrimp, but I love the layout of your plate it honestly reminds me of how a restaurant would do a layout of tacos!
