Things i have booked as a Dec 2026 bride to be

Hello zesties!!

Back again after securing my venue in the last post. Within 2 months, here are the things that i have actually booked for my AD in dec 2026!!

1. PWS

I considered v long on whether to go for local or overseas in taiwan and eventually set on a local taichung studio & extended our trip in taipei after the pws as a mini holiday! after all, its our first trip post engagement and it would be nice to have some memories as fiance and fiancee too!!

2. AD PG & VG

We short listed a couple of pgvg vendors but ultimately going for someone fun and casual and can make us less awkward on the day of without template like videos and photos capturing important moments. Our vendor was the only one who set up a vibe check call and we found that he was really chill and nice thus my partner and i booked him right after the zoom call ended!

3. MUA

For mua, tbh i dont really have much pref except that i want a clean and natural look hence when i found my mua, her portfolio looks really good and enquired further to book her! plus points for her trial location being close to home so its easier for me when its time for the trial session before the wedding!!

4. Wedding venue stylist & florist

This portion here was the toughest out of all and i suggest yall to do a moodboard of styles you like and look through what your hotel can provide so you dont double pay for the same item! having a moodboard can help to shortlist the vendors catalogs and give yourself and them on what you need and more accurate quotes when they are pricing the items too! will recommend to give some time ahead as not all florist replies are fast and may take time to get to you on your enquiry.

5. Emcee

For emcee, i actually looked up my vendor through a fellow zesties recommendation and found my emcee through their agency! what caught my eye was the affordable rates & radio DJ background which i always wanted my emcee to have for the wedding as well! no hesitation, we booked him pretty much on the spot once i saw the profile 😂

And thats about it for my progress! we're looking for photo booths vendors next & AD gowns & suits so if yall have recommendations, do drop them below!!!

Happy hunting to all you 2026 brides to be out there~!!!

... Read moreAs someone planning a wedding in December 2026, I found that setting clear priorities early really reduced stress. I focused on securing my venue first, then thoughtfully chose my vendors based on not just price but the vibe and connection we felt—especially important for the photographer and the emcee. For example, the vibe check call with our AD photographer really helped us gauge comfort because their style was casual and authentic rather than overly scripted. When it came to the florist and stylist, I recommend creating a comprehensive moodboard with Pinterest or magazines. This not only helps you communicate your style more clearly but allows you to choose vendors who align with your vision, avoiding duplicate fees if your venue already provides certain decorative elements. Another tip for makeup artists is to prioritize convenience for trial sessions; having your trial close to home made it easier and less of a hassle for me. I also wanted a clean and natural look, so that was a big factor while browsing portfolios. Lastly, for entertainment, don’t underestimate the value of an emcee with a background that fits your personality—our choice of someone with a radio DJ experience was an affordable bonus that brought professional energy to our big day. Now, as I look for photo booth vendors and AD gowns & suits, I’m open to recommendations from fellow 2026 brides. Sharing these insights has made the planning feel less overwhelming, and I hope it helps others navigating their wedding prep!
