“(Matthew 24:35) 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” (NKJV)
Everything around us shifts, fades, and changes, but the Word of Christ stands unshaken. His promises do not expire, weaken, or lose relevance. They remain as strong today as when He first spoke them.
A farmer once replaced the wooden fence posts around his property every few years. Weather, insects, and time always took their toll. But one post was made of solid stone it never needed replacing. Storms beat against it, seasons changed, and decades passed, yet it remained unmoved.
Jesus says His words are like that stone post. Everything else in life; plans, possessions, routines, even the world itself will eventually pass away. But His Word remains, anchoring us when everything else shifts.
When you feel overwhelmed by change, return to what cannot change.
When life feels unstable, stand on what cannot be shaken. When voices around you contradict truth, cling to the One whose Word endures forever.
Christ’s words are not merely ancient sayings; they are living promises for today. Let His unchanging truth be your solid foundation.

Much like the story of the farmer’s stone fence post, which withstood decades of storms while wooden posts decayed, the promises found in the Bible stand firm no matter what else falls away. This metaphor serves as a powerful reminder that when everything feels unstable, we can anchor ourselves to eternal truths rather than transient circumstances.
The key is not only to recognize that Christ’s words endure, but also to actively apply them in daily life. Whether in moments of doubt, fear, or confusion, turning to scripture and reflecting on its teachings helps me reset my perspective and regain peace.
It’s not always easy, especially when external voices and society’s changing values challenge these truths. But embracing that His word is living and relevant — not just ancient wisdom — allows me to face uncertainty with confidence. The strength from this foundation empowers me to navigate changes, knowing there is a constant, reliable source of hope and guidance.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed or lost amid life’s changes, I encourage you to lean into these unchanging promises. They’re not just words on a page; they’re a lifeline to stability, peace, and purpose, proven through centuries and personal experience alike.
