“(Colossians 2:8-10) 8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. 9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; 10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.” (NKJV)

We live in a world overflowing with opinions, trends, and “new truths,” Paul gives a gentle but urgent warning: Don’t be cheated. Not robbed of money, but robbed of clarity, peace, and spiritual confidence.

False ideas promise depth but deliver emptiness. They look like wells, but they hold no water.

Imagine reaching for a water jug on a hot afternoon. The jug looks full, cool condensation on the outside, sturdy handle, bright label. But when you lift it, it’s empty.

That’s what worldly philosophies do. They look convincing, but they cannot refresh the soul.

Christ, however, is the full jug, the One in whom all the fullness dwells. And because He is full, you are complete in Him.

Don’t drink from empty wells. Don’t let hollow ideas drain your joy.

Christ is enough, full, sufficient, and overflowing.
