pre-wedding shoot!!
long pause since my last post about finding my dream gown!!
i’m finally back to share our PWS experience 😽 we went to lijiang, china for our shoot and honestly… best decision we made!!
i was scrolling xiao hong shu for weeks trying to find a studio, and we eventually found one we really liked. was quite apprehensive at first because there weren’t any reviews from singaporeans, but we decided to just take the leap of faith — and it paid off 🥹
we went for a package with 4 different locations + looks, priced at 9999 rmb. it included 3d2n accommodation, pickup from the train station, plus lunch & drinks on shoot day. the only extra we paid for was a fresh flower bouquet (~300 rmb iirc). the package also comes with 1 poster, 2 photo albums, and 10 photo frames, which will be shipped to us after editing is done.
overall, we’re super happy with the entire experience. the MUA worked magic — every look ATE even without editing. she took such good care of me the whole time, making sure my hair and dress were always in place. our photographer was also amazing — super patient and guided us throughout, even when we didn’t fully understand some of the terms he used.
and the shots… you can see for yourself (ps these are the raw pics!). we struggled SO much during photo selection because we genuinely loved almost everything. even the raw photos already looked stunning. in the end, we topped up 40 extra edited photos at 200 rmb each (package originally included 57 edited + 240 raw photos).
the whole process was honestly quite tiring — we knocked out for 12 hours right after 😭 it was also freezing cold in the morning, but 100% worth it for the results!!

Choosing to invest extra in additional edited photos proved worthwhile, as the enhanced images captured nuances that raw photos couldn’t, immortalizing moments in the most beautiful way. Overall, a well-rounded package that covers travel, accommodation, and amenities, coupled with enthusiastic and attentive professionals, can transform a pre-wedding shoot into a truly memorable and enjoyable experience.
