Time to Polish!: Once I was done sanding and the headlights felt smooth (though still cloudy), I rinsed them thoroughly and dried them. Then, I applied the polishing compound from the kit to a microfibre cloth and buffed the headlight in small circular motions. I really worked it in, and with each pass, I could see the clarity starting to return. It was quite satisfying! Seal the Deal: This step is crucial for longevity! After the polishing, I wiped off any residue and applied the UV sealant provided in my kit. This protective coating is what prevents the headlights from hazing up again quickly. I applied it evenly and let it cure as per the instructions. Some kits have a wipe-on sealant, others a spray – just follow what yours says. The transformation was incredible! My headlights went from a dull, yellow mess to looking almost brand new. The first night I drove after doing it, I immediately noticed how much brighter and clearer my vision was.
