The emotions can run high—one minute you're laughing, the next you're wiping tears as your child pushes boundaries or shows their frustration. One moment that stands out for me was when my husband dropped off our toddler for the day. He seemed calm and collected, but I was already feeling overwhelmed. Toddlers often don't give you a clear "okay" when they're upset or testing limits, and it takes patience to recognize their feelings beyond just their words. I remember filming a video of one such moment, wanting to capture the raw emotion because it helps me process the experience later. It reminded me that these early stages, while tough, are also full of love and growth. I’ve learned that it’s important to give yourself grace as a parent. It’s okay to cry, feel uncertain, and sometimes just wish for a moment of calm. But it’s also rewarding to see your toddler develop and respond in new ways—even if they don’t always “give okay” signals in the way you expect. Tomorrow will always be a new day, full of opportunities to learn, love, and grow together.
