Sitting with the LORD
Good morning, friends! ☀️
I’ve been working on some new art the past few days that I wanted to share with you! I pray these posts bless and encourage you this week! 💛
In a world filled with chaos, hurry, and noise, may we find stillness with the Lord in the midst of it all! He is our peace, our shelter, and our refuge in times of trouble!
No matter how you’re feeling today, or how this week has been, you can bring it all to the feet of Jesus! There’s nothing you’re walking through that He hasn’t already carried. He’s experienced the weight of this world, yet without sin. He is not distant — He is a High Priest who understands, who came down and became man so He could be near to us.
You are so deeply loved. 💛
Sit with Him today, He longs to speak with you. 🌿

In today's fast-paced world, many seek solace and meaning in their faith. Sitting with the Lord offers a profound opportunity for personal reflection and spiritual rejuvenation. As the verse from 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us, we can "cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you." Engaging in prayer and quiet contemplation cultivates an intimate connection with Jesus, who invites us to share our deepest thoughts and feelings. Additionally, it’s essential to create a dedicated space for these moments, whether in a quiet corner of your home or during a peaceful walk in nature. This practice not only allows one to listen to His guidance but also reinforces the understanding that we are seen and valued. Art can also play a significant role in this spiritual journey. It is a beautiful way to express one’s relationship with God, whether through painting, drawing, or writing. Art can become a form of worship, allowing us to visualize and share our experiences. Ultimately, embracing stillness with the Lord is about recognizing His presence in all aspects of our lives. It’s an invitation to bring our struggles, thoughts, and joys to Him, reassuring us that we are loved and understood, no matter our circumstances.
