Peer pressured into reading this book…

Omg just finished it was sooo good 10/10 recommend. I picked up Detached & Desired thinking it was going to be another “act unbothered and he’ll chase you” type of book… but it’s not about playing games. It’s about finally getting tired of overthinking every text, and overanalyzing every vibe It made me reflect on how many times I confused anxiety with chemistry. How many times I thought obsession meant connection. And how peaceful it actually feels when you choose yourself instead of trying to win someone over. It’s about becoming desired because you finally desire yourself first.✨💕

Before, I often found myself caught up in the anxiety of waiting for a reply or overanalyzing every interaction, confusing nervous excitement for genuine chemistry. This book helped me recognize that true attraction comes from a place of confidence and self-respect—not from trying to chase or win someone over. One of the most valuable lessons I took away is the importance of choosing yourself first. When you focus on your own needs and desires instead of constantly seeking validation from others, you naturally become more magnetic. It’s not about playing games or pretending to be uninterested; it’s about being authentically you. This authenticity radiates confidence and makes you genuinely irresistible. The guide emphasizes breaking free from toxic patterns like obsession or mistaking anxious feelings for connection. Instead, it promotes a peaceful mindset where you appreciate your own worth and embrace independence in your romantic journey. I found this approach refreshing because it encourages inner growth, which eventually leads to healthier, more fulfilling relationships. If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by the complexities of dating or wondered why you keep attracting the wrong kind of attention, this book offers actionable advice and heartfelt insights. It’s more than just a dating manual—it’s a reminder that self-love is the foundation for any meaningful connection. Reading it felt like a personal coaching session that empowered me to stop sweating the small stuff and focus on building a magnetic presence by valuing myself first.
