easy chicken dish

... Read moreThis easy chicken pot pie biscuit casserole is one of those go-to comfort meals that’s both hearty and simple to prepare. Using refrigerated biscuits as a topping not only saves time but also adds a wonderfully flaky texture that pairs perfectly with the creamy chicken and vegetable filling. When I first tried this recipe, I appreciated how the combination of garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper enriched the savory broth base, making each bite flavorful without complicated steps. One tip I learned is to sauté the frozen mixed vegetables with butter before mixing everything in the casserole dish; this helps enhance their flavor and gives the dish an extra layer of richness. Using canned cream of chicken and cream of celery soups keeps the filling rich and creamy, and the chicken broth adds a slight savory depth. For busy weeknights, this dish is a real lifesaver. It requires minimal prep, especially if you have some cooked chicken on hand, and pops right into the oven for a quick bake at 375°F for about 15 to 20 minutes. The result is a comforting meal with golden biscuit tops and a creamy chicken-vegetable filling beneath. You can customize this casserole easily by adding your favorite herbs or vegetables, such as fresh thyme or diced potatoes, or using different types of cheese on top before baking for extra flavor. This meal pairs well with a fresh green salad or steamed veggies to balance out the richness. Overall, this chicken pot pie biscuit casserole is perfect for anyone looking for a quick, flavorful, and satisfying meal that the whole family will enjoy.

Yup yup … did you sneak up in my kitchen when you were a kid because I made this for my crew when they were growing up. Here’s a dish for you to maybe try. Take and fry up a mess of chicken till it’s almost done then put it in a baking dish and top with marinara and shredded cheese back to 30 at 375. My flip in chicken parm I guess you could say but my kids loved it.
