Things I ate this week to lose 1.5 pounds
Just some of the things I ate this week to keep going with my weight loss. I am striving to move my body more and more. Upping my step goal to 8500 next week instead of 8k.
Little by little getting there. Officially down 31.6 pounds now. Celebrating that no matter how long it took.
When embarking on a weight loss journey, it's essential to make conscious food choices that promote health and well-being. This week, I focused on incorporating nutrient-dense foods, such as leafy greens, lean proteins, and healthy fats, into my meals. Meal prepping is an effective strategy that helped me stay on track with my diet. By planning my meals ahead of time, I ensured that I always had healthy options readily available, reducing the temptation to indulge in unhealthy snacks. I found that including a variety of colors on my plate not only made my meals visually appealing but also ensured a range of nutrients. Staying hydrated was another critical component of my week. Drinking plenty of water throughout the day helped curb unnecessary cravings and supported my body's metabolism. I also made a point to increase my physical activity by setting a higher step goal, which not only aided in weight loss but boosted my energy levels and mood. Remember that weight loss is a gradual process that requires patience and consistency. By recognizing your achievements, no matter how small, you can maintain motivation. Keep a food journal to track your meals and emotions related to food, which can provide insights into your eating behaviors and help you make positive changes moving forward.
