2025 Reading Wrap

1/3 Edited to

... Read moreAs an enthusiastic reader who completed over 100 books in 2025, I found this achievement both motivating and enriching. One striking aspect of this journey was how setting a clear reading goal transformed my daily routine. Starting each day with at least 30 minutes of reading became a refreshing habit, helping me not only relax but also expand my knowledge and imagination. Romance was my dominant genre this year, reflecting a strong preference for emotional depth and captivating storytelling. Authors like C.R. Jane and Toni Aleo frequently appeared on my reading list, and their ability to deliver heartfelt narratives kept me deeply engaged. Their novels balanced warmth with tension, creating addictive stories that were hard to put down. What also stood out was joining community platforms like Fable, which added a social dimension to my reading. Sharing reviews and seeing others' ratings encouraged me to explore diverse authors and titles outside my usual picks. Notably, reading a popular fantasy novel praised as "the most brutally addictive fantasy in a decade" opened my horizons to new genres. Tracking my progress was another motivating factor. Seeing my total books read climb and knowing I ranked within the top 5% of romance readers gave me a sense of accomplishment. It also encouraged me to challenge myself further, trying books that stretched my comfort zone. Overall, surpassing my reading goal in 2025 not only increased my book count but deepened my appreciation for storytelling and connected me with a vibrant literary community. For anyone looking to boost their reading habits, I recommend setting clear milestones, engaging with fellow readers online, and choosing books that truly resonate with your emotions and interests.
