🏆Plus Size Workout Clothes🏆
As a plus size girly who works out (yes I know it’s shocking!) I know the struggles of finding comfortable clothes that cover all of my parts I need from stomach to thighs, from having bigger breasts and a wider back. Now of course you can truly wear whatever you please working out, I am no stranger to a T-shirt and male sleeping shorts for those days I have to force myself out of bed. But there are days where I want to feel confident and cute while I do my thing.
Now I’m not a very active person since my knee injury. I can truly only do so much but from walking, swimming,
Physical therapy and Pilates. These are some of the brands I have tried or ones I want too!

Hey, fellow 'WORKOUT BABES'! If you're like me, finding the perfect plus-size workout attire can feel like a quest. We want clothes that support us, make us feel good, and let us move freely, without constantly adjusting or worrying about coverage. After years of trying different brands, I've really narrowed down what works for me as a plus-size woman who's active, from walking to Pilates and beyond. Elevating Your Gym Style: Classy Plus Size Workout Outfits Sometimes, I want to feel a little extra polished even when I'm sweating it out. This is where the idea of 'classy plus size workout clothes' comes in. It's not just about functionality; it's about feeling put-together and confident. Here are my tips for creating those chic plus-size gym outfits: Matching Sets are Your Best Friend: One of the easiest ways to look instantly coordinated and classy is with a matching top and bottom set. Brands like Fabletics and Popflex often have beautiful seamless designs that create a cohesive look. Choose colors that make you feel vibrant, or go for classic black or navy for timeless elegance. The key is that the pieces are designed to go together, making styling effortless. Quality Fabrics Make a Difference: Look for activewear made with high-quality, moisture-wicking, and supportive fabrics. These not only perform better during your workout but also tend to hold their shape and look more luxurious. Compression fabrics can offer a smooth silhouette, which often contributes to a 'classy' feel. Flattering Cuts and Details: High-waisted leggings are a game-changer for me, providing comfort and confidence. Look for thoughtful details like flatlock seams (to prevent chafing), wide waistbands that don't roll down, and supportive sports bras that offer both comfort and lift. Sometimes, a subtle mesh panel or a unique strap design can elevate an outfit. Layering for a Polished Look: A stylish hoodie or a long-sleeve top can be thrown over your tank or sports bra for a sophisticated layered look, especially when transitioning from the gym to errands. This adds an extra touch of style and practicality. Beyond the Gym: Activewear for Training & Lounging Life isn't just about intense workouts; it's also about recovery, errands, and casual comfort. I love pieces that can easily transition from a light workout to lounging at home. For me, this means soft, stretchy joggers, oversized graphic tees, and comfortable seamless leggings that can be paired with a cute sweater or a denim jacket. This versatility is crucial for building a practical and stylish activewear wardrobe that serves multiple purposes. Hitting the Pavement: Essential Plus Size Running Clothes While my current routine includes more walking and Pilates due to my knee, I know many 'PLUS SIZE WORK OUT ATTIRE I Love and Trust As A Plus Size Woman Who's Active!' friends who love to run. If running is your jam, here are a few specific things to look for in your plus size running clothes: High-Impact Sports Bras: Essential for proper support and comfort during high-intensity movements. Look for adjustable straps and band for a custom fit. Chafe-Free Bottoms: This is crucial! Look for shorts or leggings with anti-chafing properties or flatlock seams. Many runners also swear by anti-chafing balms or sticks. Breathable & Moisture-Wicking Fabrics: Essential for staying cool and dry, preventing discomfort and potential skin irritation. Pockets! For your phone, keys, and gels. Functional pockets are a lifesaver. Smart Shopping for Your Activewear When you're looking for new pieces, whether from the brands I mentioned or exploring new options, always check the fabric composition for a good blend of stretch (like spandex or elastane) and durability. Read reviews, especially from other plus-size individuals, to get an idea of sizing and fit. Don't be afraid to try on different styles and sizes until you find what makes you feel amazing. Remember, being an active plus-size woman is about feeling good in your skin and your clothes!
