✨️Just Ingredients- review✨️
So I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by these. I've had this brand before, but they have been a hit or miss for me especially with flavor. Also, my taste buds I feel like have been changing after turning 41 (if that's a thing haha 🤷♀️) So, with that said this is my personal opinion on these items...
-Peach Microgreens: This was the biggest surprise for me, and most excited to try out of the items. You can smell the greens, but it tastes like peach with maybe a little dirt still on it. I can absolutely drink this on it's own and will definitely be buying again. 10/10
-Sweet Strawberry Electrolytes: This wasn't too bad as well. It definitely is sweeter tasting with a light flavoring of strawberry. I think between this and rocket berry are my favs and will order again. 9/10
-Cherry Punch Electrolytes on the go:
I'm not too sure what to think of this one. I like it but don't. I get the cherry flavor, but it reminds me of spindrift (which I don't like personally, and I've tried multiple flavors....Sorry 😬). I think if you like spindrift you will most likely like this. 6/10
-Vanilla Peanut Butter Swirl: This is tasty, definitely get the peanut butter with a hint of sweetness. It reminds me of a peanut butter cookie which I love. If you like peanut butter, this one is for you. It still has the protein powder taste to me, but I like it. 7/10
-Lemon Birthday Cake: This is my favorite! I love lemom desserts, and this tastes like it. Again to me still has the protein powder taste, but very slight. 10/10
-Cookies and Cream: This was delicious as well. Definitely get the cookies flavor. I think I like this one a tad more than the peanut butter swirl. 8/10
-Artic Beast Energy & Peach Energy:
I have not tried these just yet. I put them in the fridge, and I will report back 🫶
Trying Just Ingredients products has been quite an interesting experience for me as well, especially since I’m always on the lookout for supplements that balance unique flavors with functional benefits. The Peach Microgreens drink, in particular, caught my attention. It’s rare to find a product that manages to combine a fresh greens profile with a genuinely pleasant peach flavor — some might notice a subtle earthy undertone, but for me, that added a natural authenticity that made it refreshing rather than off-putting. The Sweet Strawberry Electrolytes reminded me of some of the lighter fruit-flavored electrolyte drinks I’ve tried in the past, but with a sweeter profile that’s quite enjoyable post-workout or during a long day. Personally, electrolyte drinks that lean too heavily on artificial sweetness can be overwhelming, so it’s great to see a brand aiming for that balance. I’ve had mixed feelings about cherry-flavored drinks before, so the Cherry Punch Electrolytes were a bit of a gamble. Like the reviewer, I also associate certain cherry beverages with that distinct carbonated sparkling water taste, which can be hit or miss. If you're sensitive to those notes like with Spindrift, it might be worth sampling first before committing to a full purchase. On the protein front, the Vanilla Peanut Butter Swirl and Cookies and Cream flavors stood out as good alternatives to typical protein shakes. The slight protein powder aftertaste was noticeable but didn’t overpower the peanut butter or cookie flavors, making them enjoyable as treats that don’t sacrifice nutrition. The Lemon Birthday Cake flavor sounded intriguing, and I understand the excitement — lemon desserts have a bright, tangy sweetness that can really uplift the protein powder base. One tip I’d give to anyone exploring Just Ingredients is to consider how your own taste preferences and sensitivities may have changed over time. For example, as we age, it’s natural for our taste buds to evolve, perhaps becoming more sensitive to sweetness or different flavor profiles. Sampling smaller quantities or single-serving packets could be a good way to experiment without committing to large purchases. Lastly, the mention of keto-friendly and gut-friendly in the product labeling aligns with growing wellness trends, which makes these supplements appealing for people who want functional ingredients without added sugars or artificial fillers. Keeping future energy drink flavors like Arctic Beast Energy and Peach Energy under observation could be worthwhile, especially if they follow the same ingredient philosophy.
