Queued nearly 2 hours for SIMBA’s $60 promo
Honestly, I think SIMBA’s $60 promo is a pretty smart move. ( You pay $60 for the plan and get another $60 free)
I started queuing at 2:10 pm near the Tampines interchange fruit stall and waited for 1 hour and 50 mins to get this promo. ( I had time to spare) ( Pic 2)
From 2:10pm to 3pm, the queue wasn’t moving because the promo only started at 3pm and ended at 4pm.
From 3pm to 3:15pm, the queue moved very slowly, and the auntie behind me mentioned that she was worried she wouldn’t be able to get the promo at this rate.
Around 3:20 pm, the queue started moving faster.
I reached near the Tampines SIMBA service centre at around 3:40 pm, but the queue stopped moving again and the queue was also broken too. ( Pic 3)
Some people who were not in the long queue cut in directly at the service centre, which made many of them frustrated.
They complained to the crowd controllers that these people did not queue properly, but they insisted that no one had cut the queue.
There were 2 people in charge of crowd control btw.
At 3:57 pm, I finally completed the transaction for the $60 promo. ( Pic 4)
At 4 pm, I went to see how far the queue had extended, and I was surprised that people were still queuing as far back as Qbread, which is quite a distance from the service centre. ( Pic 5)
Overall, I think it was quite worth it if you have the time.
I know some of you may say that SIMBA isn’t very good and that Eight is better.
I switched to SIMBA a few months ago due to personal reasons, and I’d say that SIMBA is so-so, but still better than my previous telco plan.
