I know they’re different, but my 🧠 disagrees

I’ve always struggled with recognising faces, and recently I noticed something strange.

While watching Li Zhenning’s performances, he reminded me a lot of a Japanese actor, Nijirō Murakami, even though I know they look completely different, especially their eyes and nose.

I’m not self-diagnosing, but it made me wonder if I have mild face-recognition difficulties.

Idk why I feel that Li Zhenning looks a bit like Chen Linong too.

I know all 3 of them are completely different, but I don’t know why Li Zhenning looks the most like Nijirō Murakami to me.

Ironically, their eye shapes and nose shapes are completely different from one another.

For example, Nijirō Murakami has evolved in his appearance over the years, and many fans might be curious about his looks before and after certain roles or time periods. I’ve also wondered about his personal life, like whether he has a girlfriend, or how he’s doing mentally. What strikes me most is how our brains process face recognition differently; I sometimes confuse actors because certain expressions or angles make them seem alike, despite clear differences in eye shape or nose structure. This makes me empathize with those who have face-recognition difficulties—a condition that can be mild and isn’t frequently discussed. If you’re interested in Nijirō Murakami’s recent projects or personal updates, he remains active in the entertainment scene, and fans eagerly await new works into 2025. Discussions about his mental health also highlight the importance of awareness in the public eye. Overall, recognizing faces is complex, and my experience comparing Li Zhenning, Nijirō Murakami, and Chen Linong highlights just how subjective it can be. It’s a reminder to appreciate the uniqueness of each individual and how our perceptions shape our connections to them.

• Amap/高德地图 (p.2) 5/5 ⭐️ super useful for navigation and really precise timings! tells you exactly when the train arrives and transit timing if you’re switching lines; overall a reliable and intuitive interface and i daresay it’s better than google maps so you won’t be missing out on much hahaha

I think I just found my new shopping obsession. 📍 With Love just opened a 3-storey store at Neil Road, and honestly, you could get lost in here for hours (in a good way). What I love is that it’s not your usual mall mix - it’s filled with independent brands from Singapore, Sydney, Ho Chi Minh
