#WORTH IT GOOD SUSHI 🍱 food review: sen-ryo 🍣

Hello 🍋8 foodies,

I wanted to share my review of 千両 sen-ryo (ION Orchard) which I tried some time ago!

⭐️ rating: 4.3/5

We tried their lunch menu which was SUPER #WorthIt !!! Swipe to see what we got 😋

I don’t recall the exact name of the set but I believe it was one of their sushi sets! (Might be the premium one ~$32.8 each)

Their usual prices can be a little more on the pricey side so if you’re looking for a good deal for good quality sushi, I’d recommend going during the weekdays lunch time.

... Read moreIf you're considering a visit to Sen-ryo at ION Orchard, here are some additional insights from my experience to make the most of your sushi outing. Firstly, the location is super convenient within the mall, making it an ideal lunch spot when shopping or working nearby. The lunch sets offer a fantastic value compared to their usual menu prices, especially if you want to indulge in premium sushi without breaking the bank. The sushi itself is impressively fresh, featuring a variety of nigiri and rolls that are beautifully presented. I particularly appreciated the balance of flavors and textures, from the lightness of the fish to the perfectly seasoned rice. A friend who accompanied me also noted that the sushi melts in your mouth—a sign of excellent quality. Aside from the sushi, don’t miss trying their warabimochi if available. It’s a delightfully soft and sweet traditional Japanese dessert that pairs well after the sushi meal. Lastly, to avoid crowds and enjoy more attentive service, visiting during weekday lunch hours is highly recommended. This way, you can savor your meal in a more relaxed environment. Overall, Sen-ryo provides a satisfying sushi experience with premium quality at a reasonable lunch price, ideal for sushi lovers seeking an authentic and delicious Japanese dining experience in Singapore.

Sen-ryo Vivocity set lunch
Thrilled that Sen-ryo is now open at Vivocity! I ordered the Tempura Udon set (23.8) and add on Foie gras (8.2). Update: 06/01/2026 Tried the Miso Halibut set (20.8). Tasty but too cumbersome to slowly remove the fish bones. Visited: 23/12/2025 1230pm, 06/01/2026 1230pm

Reasonable prices for quality Jap food in Orchard
🤑 Prices are very reasonable for their good quality and freshness of the food 🤤 My favourite set would be their Kaisen don set with a variety of sashimi slices and the raw prawn 🤤🤤🤤🤤 🦐 Their skewers are slightly pricier than other Jap food, but it is so worth it. Each skewer is charred to perfect

10 courses OMAKASE for $29.90
Sushidan is a well-known sushi restaurant from Japan, located on B1 of Raffles City, Singapore. It’s worth checking out if you’re nearby and can avoid the queue. They offer an omakase-style set menu, and at S$19.90 or S$29.90++, it’s really good value for the quality of food you get. #sgfood

【日本語は下です♪】 I’ve never seen an Omakase that is willing to put so much of premium ingredient such as urchin, caviar and toro on the menu that less than $200 😳 Menus starting from $68 for lunch and $148 for dinner. The menu we chose was CHUSEI 15-course at $198. Was it worthy ? Yes absolutely 💯
