This is news too. nervous system worthy
In today’s fast-paced world, feeling nervous or anxious is quite common, but I’ve found that tuning into my nervous system can greatly help in managing these feelings. One approach that has worked for me is what I call 'nervous system necromancy,' a way of reawakening and calming the nervous system by consciously listening to calming natural sounds, like birdsong, instead of distressing news or notifications. This practice is a gentle reminder to give our nervous system the rest and care it deserves. When I feel overwhelmed, I focus on deep, mindful breathing and grounding exercises that help me reconnect to the present moment, reducing nervousness. Additionally, I pay attention to my ear health by limiting exposure to loud noises and using ear protection when needed, since ear health is closely linked to balance and overall nervous system function. Another key strategy is embracing the philosophy of 'nomorefears'—actively working to ditch fear by facing it mindfully, engaging in positive affirmations, and surrounding myself with supportive environments. Through such practices, I’ve noticed improved emotional resilience and a calmer state of mind. Incorporating moments to 'awakeny'—a term inspired by awakening your inner energy—also includes light physical activity and stretching, which stimulates the nervous system in a nurturing way. Overall, tuning into natural elements and thoughtfully caring for our nervous system can pave the way toward greater inner peace and confidence.
