Would God still love me if ….?

How many times have we struggled to get back to our prayer life, or our daily devotions, or to church because we consider our sins greater than Gods mercy?

Often times we can struggle to come close to Him due to what our own past experiences with those who are close.

Often times others may not forgive our mistakes and because of this we find it hard to think that God may want to receive us with open arms again.

Today in your reflection I want to ask you to read this small verse, and I also invite you to read the parable of the Prodigal Son. (Lk 15)

I hope that after reading this you can understand how loving our God is, and how great His mercy is towards his children.

God loves you always 🕊️

... Read moreWhen facing feelings of unworthiness and doubt about God's love, it is essential to revisit core biblical teachings that reaffirm His compassion. The story of the Prodigal Son (Lk 15) serves as a powerful reminder. This parable highlights the profound joy that God feels when a lost soul returns to Him, no matter the sins committed. Furthermore, understanding that God’s love is not contingent on our perfection allows us to foster a relationship filled with grace. Many believers struggle with guilt and shame, feeling that their past mistakes define their future. Yet, scripture consistently reminds us that God’s mercy is greater than our failings. Whether through forgiveness, acceptance, or the sacrificial love demonstrated by Christ, the message is clear: all are welcome in His embrace. Reflecting on verses like Lk 15:19-20, where the father ran to his son, emphasizes that God waits eagerly for us to return, ready to forgive and cherish us like true children. Embrace this truth and let go of the burdens that weigh you down, knowing that God wants nothing more than to share His love with you.
