Fun simple Palm sunday craft for littles
I started this craft by gathering my supplies.
-2 pieces of green paper (i was able to fit my hands and my sons on both sheets)
- popsicle sticks
-glue sticks
-scissors
-pen or marker
First you trace your both hands and then cut them out.
Place glue on popsicle stick and on one of the palm leaf hand. Then place other on top of the rest of the glue. Let dry.
Once they are dry read Matthew 21:1-9 with your littles. explain to them Jesus is king and that he loves us dearly. I also explain what the branches mean:
-victory
-honor
-Triumph
My toddler and i also had a blast walking around the house acting like donkeys after i told him Jesus rode on a donkey.
And lastly play some worship music and Wave your palm branches and say “Hosanna Hosanna in the highest”. (our favorite song today was “wave your palms for jesus by bible beats for kids)
The lesson for this craft is to teach your littles that Jesus is King of Kings. He is our lord and came to save us.
