Trying Yemen’s Haraz coffee was an eye-opening experience that truly showcased the rich heritage and unique flavors of this special region. The coffee beans from Haraz are prized for their organic quality and distinct taste, often described as aromatic and complex due to the mountain-grown cultivation. What I found especially compelling was how the Adeni Pot mirrored a chai tea with a warm blend of spices, creating a comforting and rich beverage unlike any typical coffee. The iced drinks, from the refreshing Strawberry Cloud to the exotic Mango Matcha and Salted Caramel, offered a vibrant variety that catered well to the Florida heat. Among the iced options, the Iced Haraz Latte stood out for its smoothness and robust flavor, a perfect balance between creamy and bold notes. Beyond the drinks, the bakery’s selection was exceptional. The Baklava Cheesecake was a revelation—combining the flaky sweetness of baklava with the silky texture of cheesecake. Along with classics like Oreo and Pistachio Cheesecakes, the Jar Dessert and Knaus Berry Cinnamon Roll added appealing textures and flavors, highlighting the café’s commitment to freshness and quality. For those who prefer savory bites, the Bee Bites drizzled with honey and the assortment of empanadas provided a delightful contrast to the sweet treats, making the café suitable for any time of day. Prices were reasonable considering the quality, and the cozy atmosphere made it a perfect spot to savor these unique culinary offerings. If you appreciate trying coffees that tell a story and pastries that are thoughtfully crafted, Haraz Coffeehouse in Pembroke Pines is a destination worth visiting. It invites coffee enthusiasts and food lovers alike to explore the rare delights of Yemeni coffee and delightful pastries in a welcoming setting.
