Many gamers often reminisce about their first gaming experience, and for some, like the author, it began with the legendary Atari Pong. Released in 1975, Atari Pong was one of the earliest arcade video games and played a significant role in popularizing video gaming in households. This simple yet addictive game set the foundation for the vast video game industry we see today. Following Atari Pong, a series of gaming consoles were launched over the years, each bringing new technology, graphics, and gameplay innovation. The Atari 2600, released in 1977, was among the first home consoles to achieve mainstream success, allowing gamers to enjoy a variety of interchangeable games. The Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) came out in 1985, reviving the video game market with classics like Super Mario Bros. and The Legend of Zelda. Sega Genesis and Super NES were major players in the late 80s and early 90s, with titles and franchises that still influence gaming culture. The early 90s also saw the arrival of atari Jaguar and SEGA Saturn, though they had less impact compared to their competitors. By the mid-90s, the advent of 3D graphics revolutionized gaming with consoles such as the Nintendo 64, Sony PlayStation, and Sega Dreamcast.
