Figured it’s time to actually post here

We’re finally trying this whole Lemon8 thing.

I’m a mom of two. Our daughter Harper was born at 32 weeks, and at the time we thought that was the scariest thing we’d ever go through.

Then our son Anthony was born at just 25 weeks, weighing 1lb 3oz.

It’s been a long road, but he’s doing really well now and we’re beyond grateful.

This will be more personal than what we share on TikTok.

Less of the trends, more of the real-life stuff.

We’re still figuring out how much we want to put out there, but this is where we’ll share the behind-the-scenes moments.

You’ll see a mix of cheer weekends, family life, simple recipes (maybe), NASCAR here and there, and whatever else feels like us.

Not trying to be perfect. Just sharing life the way it is.

Thanks for being here 💜

... Read moreRaising preterm babies, especially those born extremely early like at 25 weeks, poses unique challenges that require perseverance, medical support, and emotional strength. Premature infants often spend significant time in the NICU where they receive specialized care including respiratory support, nutrition assistance, and developmental therapy. Parents of preemies navigate both the medical complexities and the emotional rollercoaster, facing concerns about their children's health, growth, and milestones. Sharing personal stories on platforms like Lemon8 allows parents to find community and support from others undergoing similar experiences. These narratives foster awareness about prematurity and its impact on families, highlighting both struggles and moments of joy. The hashtags #preemiemama and #nicustrong connect caregivers and parents to a wider network focused on preemie advocacy and encouragement. In addition to focusing on medical and developmental recovery, many families integrate normal lifestyle activities—such as family routines, simple cooking, and hobbies—to re-establish a sense of normalcy and create cherished memories. Activities like cheerleading weekends and following interests such as NASCAR embrace life’s joyful moments beyond medical challenges. By embracing authenticity and moving away from idealized social media trends, sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses of daily life helps demystify parenting preemies. It encourages openness about the imperfections and resilience found in real life. This approach aligns with the growing value users place on genuine and relatable content, especially on platforms designed to foster connections around shared interests and experiences. Ultimately, the journey of raising preemie children is about gratitude, courage, and community support. Lemon8 provides an inviting space where such heartfelt stories can be told, inspiring others and nurturing a supportive environment for families navigating similar paths.

My older son was a 32 weeker. I took him home from the hospital when dcf was granted custody of him and we adopted him almost exactly from the day he came home. He is Autistic and has adhd. He’s now a dean’s list student in his sophomore in college going to be an engineer

How to Actually Get Good With Money
Let’s be honest—most of us never got a step-by-step guide on how to actually get good with money. We just kept hearing “save more,” “stop spending,” and “invest early” like that was enough. But what does that even look like in real life? So instead of just listing habits, I broke down the ac
